New Songs in Old Traditions
A workshop devoted to exploring Mick's collection of 50 shape note/west gallery style songs, composed over a 15-year period and pulished in February 2011. The workshop takes place at Harwich Town Sailing Club and includes a light lunch at the New Bell Inn (just around the corner). Loaner copies of The New Essex Harmony will be available on the day.

New and old tunes for sessions and performances
A series of workshops for musicians focussing on the skills required for playing in pub sessions - learning tunes, developing accompaniments and arrangements, and also taking a look at how to join in with songs. It is not necessary to attend all three workshops but they are intended to run as a series in terms of repertoire and learning outcomes.
